Now that you have scheduled your admission at New Hope Unlimited for treatment, it's time to plan your trip. We know you have a lot to do to get ready for travel and sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming, so we have created this step-by-step guide to make this process as easy as possible for you.
Step 1: Book your flights
Once you have scheduled your admission date at New Hope Unlimited, your first step is to book your flight. It’s best to fly into Yuma International Airport (YUM) since this is the closest airport to New Hope’s pick-up location.
We strongly suggest you plan to arrive in Yuma the day before admission and schedule your flight home for the day after discharge.
If possible, we suggest you arrive in Yuma the day before your scheduled admission. This allows you to be well rested from your trip and ready to start your treatment the next day. Also, schedule your flight home for the day after discharge. Your last day at New Hope will still be a busy day, so we will transport you back to the hotel in Yuma mid- to late-afternoon on the day of discharge.
The primary commercial airline utilizing Yuma International Airport is American Airlines.
